Community.aws Terms of Use

By using Community.aws, you agree that the AWS Code of Conduct, these Terms of Use, and the AWS Customer Agreement (collectively, the “Governing Terms”) govern your usage of Community.aws. If you are an AWS customer, the reference to “AWS Customer Agreement” means your existing agreement with Amazon Web Services, Inc. and/or its affiliates (“AWS”) governing your use of AWS services. If you are not an AWS customer, it means the terms of the online AWS Customer Agreement.
These Terms of Use supplement the AWS Customer Agreement, but if there is any conflict between the two, then these Terms of Use control. AWS may monitor and remove any content available in Community.aws, and may refuse or terminate your access to Community.aws,
including for any violation of the Governing Terms.

Your Posts

You may submit for review and, once approved by AWS, publish (collectively, “Upload”) messages, reviews, media, images, folders, data, text, and other types of works on Community.aws (“Your Posts”). You are solely responsible for Your Posts, including ensuring Your Posts do not violate the Governing Terms or any applicable law. Your Posts must not contain any confidential, personal, or sensitive information. You represent and warrant that (a) Your Posts are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge and (b) Your Posts do not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, or other third-party proprietary rights.

Licenses

You grant AWS, its affiliates, agents, employees, and assigns a nonexclusive, royalty-free, paid-up, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, transferable, and sub-licensable right and license to host, store, transfer, display, perform, reproduce, and modify for the purpose of formatting for display, and distribute Your Posts, in whole or in part, in any media formats and through any media channels. AWS will not modify Your Posts in a manner that substantially changes their content or meaning without providing you the opportunity to review any such modifications. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to grant the licenses referenced in this section.
Notwithstanding the above, if you provide source code text within Your Posts, you are providing such source code under the MIT-0 license.

Informational Only

You are responsible for making your own independent assessment of the information available in Community.aws, including testing, securing, and optimizing any suggestions uploaded by AWS or other users that you choose to adopt. Information on Community.aws, whether uploaded by AWS or other users, (a) are suggestions and for informational purposes only, (b) may relate to current AWS services, offerings, and practices, which are subject to change, and (c) create no warranties, representations, commitments, conditions, or assurances from AWS. AWS takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any information available on Community.aws.

Privacy

AWS handles your information in accordance with the AWS Privacy Notice.

Updates

AWS may update these Terms of Use at its sole discretion by making updated versions available online at https://community.aws/terms. Your continued use of community.aws constitutes your acceptance of such updates.
